The Education Alliance is a collaborative effort among the region's finest academic institutions. The mission of the Education Alliance is to provide working adults with a venue to compare and contrast the higher education opportunities available in this area at the undergraduate level, at the graduate level, or for the purposes of continuing education.
The Education Alliance also provides support to local employers. We can offer an on-site Education Fair for employees. The benefits to an organization include:
- On-site convenience. Your employees can visit with the education alliance members during the lunch hour or while on break.
- Displays a commitment to professional development. While employees are often encouraged to consider additional education for the purposes of promotion, most employees don’t know where, or how, to begin a search for a suitable college or university. An education fair removes this barrier and allows institutions of higher learning to come to them.
- Ease of coordination. By contacting the Chamber, you can, with a single call, arrange for a convenient time to host an education fair at your place of business. Instead of having individual institutions represented, and having to worry about fairness, in one call, all the regional institutions are represented.
