Why I serve on the Council:
Leadership Lynchburg was a wonderful program for me; a gift that truly keeps on giving. I am dleighted to serve on the Council and contribute whatever I can to help ensure many more people enjoy a similar expereince for years to come.
I attended Leadership Lynchburg partly because I wanted to make friends, and I wanted Lynchburg to feel like home since I did not grow up here. While in Leadership Lynchburg, I learned a lot about the community and leadership, and made good friends. Better still, Leadership Lynchburg became a springboard for me to get involved in volunteer groups. I have served on the board of my neighborhood swim team (Wildwood Stingrays), coached recreation teams for Lynchburg United Soccer, helped the temple market its Sunday School program, coached softball and served on the board for Timberlake Dixie Youth (TDY).
