With new shopping and dining areas cropping up throughout town, retail choices are broad
In addition to a retail mall, there has been an impressive growth among big-box retailers and national chain stores along Wards Road, with a 200-acre shopping center planned for construction in 2008.
Central Virginia’s shopping and dining resources are growing exponentially and include offerings from local entrepreneurs to large, national chains. New retail businesses are cropping up along Route 221 in Forest, as well as Wards Road. Plans for a 200-acre shopping center, Lakeside Centre, which is set to start construction in 2008, and a proposed outdoor mall in Campbell County, only add to the wealth of shopping and dining experiences.
